Hornady 243 95 Grain SST
Harvested many deer with this ammo out of my TC Encore. Never had a whitetail go more than 50 yards – quick, clean kills. Largest deer taken was a 170 class whitetail – shot behind shoulder, recovered bullet just under hide on off-side shoulder – running shot and deer went maybe another 20 yards going downhill. Excellent ammo and makes my single shot rifle Encore my go-to gun.

Very accurate nice hunting round for .243
Virginia –
I recently used the 95 SST Superformance .243 to take two whitetails in the Texas Hill Country near Sonora, Texas. The first was a nine point buck at 100 yards. A single high shoulder shot killed it instantly and dropped it in its tracks. The bullet exited in front of the opposite shoulder. I then took a doe at 50 yards with a double lung shot tight behind the shoulder and an exit behind the opposite shoulder. The doe hunched up at the shot, stumbled about 25 feet, and fell dead. Impressive quick kills with complete penetration on both deer.

Now using the SST exclusively in my Ruger Precision Rifle with great confidence and performance. A very good round
